New Orleans, hot damn.  Trailblazers, hot damn.  One more week, hot damn.

The last two days while Michael is driving to and from the airport he has caught every damn red light on the way.  It infuriates him to the point of turning red and I can't stop laughing.
Now, the last two nights I have gone out and gotten nothing but green lights the whole way, even gotten reds to turn green before I hit the brakes.  I think karma is real or I am drinking to much.  Also, a 15 year old kid just said,"good evening, sir" to me as I walked to my room... I really don't know what to think of that.

Louis CK on Pandora while flying cross country is my new salvation.  God I love that man.

3.5 hour flight today and I am beach front in Gulf Shores, AL. Talked to Rainbow Rog at the airport who use to fly in Alaska and from what he was saying that needs to be my next spot but hopefully no fishing boat is involved.
A big swell is coming through on monday and waves might get up to 10 feet which seems odd to me being on the Gulf.  Trying hard not to sound like a bad Patrick Swayze movie (rest in peace you dear sweet beautiful soul) but I think the ocean knows I am here and where I am at.  Time to break some personal records.  Get strange or get strong.
I guess I could be in worse places.

I am pretty sure the controller in the tower today had a stutter.  Maybe not the best career choice for him?

Finally had a day off yesterday and boy was it a doozy.  Helped the mechanic put a new alternator on, had a lovely chat with my co-worker and told him how I felt, got a great compliment and response from my boss (and a job offer) and a nice curve ball from back home.  This year has been unforgettable and eye opening, things can change in a blink some for better and others for worse but in the end...  Well, who knows in the end but I hope I am smiling.  October 30th, counting down.  Looking forward to what is next no matter how unknowing it might be.
